“With trepidations I undertook to engage in the last renovation of my life in the demolition of a dated fourthly years old bathroom in a condominium. Finding a contractor that would be willing to tackle this project in a condominium tower is challenging and required diligence and research. In my search, I was relieved to discover that such project had been successfully completed in my building. I got the privilege to visit those finished bathrooms and feel confident with the reliability of the contractor Jens Lindert owner with his wife Teresa of Crosscuts Home. The working hours were established from the onset, between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Working with Jens was calm, as he was always patient, flexible and courteous in listening to my concerns and point of views. His office followed up with the contract, the supplies, and the co- ordination of the specialized crew that were coordinated at different stages of the project. Rome was not built in one day! So is this type of renovation! I am absolutely convinced that you can relate to the integrity of this company and it’s people! I am a very pleased customer!

“We had to create a fully-accessible washroom within a short period of time and Jens and his team accomplished this superbly! Jens lined up his skilled tradespeople and each set to their tasks in a cooperative and professional manner.  Materials were decided on quickly, keeping the work moving forward. Timelines, unforeseen circumstances (weather, illness) and scheduled work were communicated well.  The site was tidied each evening and final cleanup was impressive. During the process, some changes were made to materials and to the scope of work but the net final price was as quoted.  We fully enjoyed working with this company and are very pleased with the results.”

“We upgraded the power supply to our home from 100 to 200 amps, increased our power supply to the garage, installed a series of exterior and interior sensor lights, light switches and outlets and new electrical panels. Jens also informed us that our main electrical panel had incorrect breakers and installed the correct brand that is required by code. Jens was a pleasure to work with. He was very professional, always on time, friendly, honest, and communicative. He gave us a detailed description as to what needed to be done and helped us with what was required from us for Toronto Hydro to perform their duties. His quote was fair, and the final invoice matched what was estimated. We were extremely happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Jens and his team. We will definitely call him again for future electrical needs that might arise.”

"Crosscuts was recommended by a colleague and we were pleased with the workmanship, care and conduct of the team with one of our most important investments, an addition and renovation to our home. When inspectors or sub trades comment on the quality of work, you know there is attention to detail. As with any relationship, you need to be clear with your request or direction, but the response always met or exceeded our expectations."

"I used CrossCuts Home Improvement for a main floor renovation project in fall 2020 that included the kitchen, dining room, foyer, staircase and living room. I started with another contractor but when we ran into significant issues Jens and his team came on-board and rescued my renovation. I found that Jens was timely, honest and candid when he communicated on costs, issues and options; his workmanship and attention to detail was superb; he was reliable and prompt when scheduling work and when he and his team arrived on-site. He truly cares about his clients and the outcome of their projects from a quality, cost and timeliness perspective, and works hard to organize work in a way that minimizes disruption to clients."
